As part of the Full Registration package, you will have access to educational programming; exhibitors and LIVE stages in the Library Marketplace; Opening and Closing sessions; ALA President's Program; Auditorium Speakers; the Job Placement Center; and so much more. Full Registration covers Thursday, June 27 through Tuesday, July 2, and all sessions except for Preconferences and optional Ticketed Events.

Exhibits-Only Registration allows access to the Library Marketplace only (Saturday through Monday).

Group Discount Registration

JOIN US AS A TEAM! Attend ALA Annual with your staff and co-workers, or for LIS schools, your students and faculty staff.

If you’d like to register a group, ALA is offering a Register 5 People and get 1 Free Registration option. To register your group, begin by signing in with the first person you’d like to register, then click the "Add Another" button on the Review Information page to add each subsequent registrant. Once you've completed registration for everyone in your group, click "Finish" on the Review page. Note: You will need to enter a unique email address for each person in your group.  Also, when registering the group of six, the free registration will be reflected on the Payment page. The total cost for all five registrants can be paid via credit card, purchase order, or check. If paying by check, please include the check number in the purchase order number box.

Hotel Accommodations

Please note that you must be registered for the conference in order to book a hotel room. To book a room, you may do so immediately after registering or use the link to your personalized dashboard located in your registration confirmation email. If you need assistance with any housing-related issues, please contact our housing vendor onPeak at 800-584-9047 or [email protected].

Accepted forms of payment are American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Check and Purchase Order. If paying by check or Purchase Order, click "Check" or "Purchase Order" and enter the number.

Registration Edits 

If you need to make an edit or add to your registration, please visit the dashboard found in your confirmation email. If you need additional assistance or cannot locate your confirmation, please email [email protected].

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing to [email protected] by May 31, 2024. There will be a $50 fee for each registration canceled. Registrations purchased after May 31, 2024 are nonrefundable.

Photos/Video Policy

Attendance at this event constitutes permission for your photograph or video to be taken at the event and used for ALA purposes. 

Purchase Orders

Registrations using purchase orders are handled online. Please have the purchase order number available.

Letter of Attendance

The letter can be accessed through your dashboard from your registration confirmation. An email containing your letter of attendance will also be sent when you pick up your badge at registration.
